User Management
Manage users and control access to your GraphNode platform through role-based permissions. Create accounts, assign roles, and ensure each team member has the appropriate level of access for their responsibilities.
Creating Users
Admin users can create new accounts from the User Management panel. Each user is assigned a username, password, email address, and a specific role that determines their permissions within the platform.
Navigate to User Management
Open the administration panel and select User Management from the sidebar.
Click "New User"
This opens the user creation form with all required fields.
Fill in user details and save
Enter the username, password, email, and select the appropriate role.
User Roles
GraphNode uses a role-based access control (RBAC) model. Each user is assigned one of three roles that define what they can see and do within the platform. Choose the role that best matches each team member's responsibilities.
Security Auditor
Primary Security RoleThe primary role for security team members. Security Auditors have full access to the audit module and can view all projects across the organization.
Team Leader
Bridge RoleA bridge between the security team and development teams. Team Leaders can manage findings for their team's projects and generate relevant reports.
Developer
Remediation FocusedFocused on fixing identified issues. Developers have read-only access to vulnerability findings and remediation guidance for their assigned projects.
Choosing the Right Role
Assign Security Auditor to members of your AppSec team who need full visibility across all projects. Use Team Leader for engineering leads who need to triage findings for their teams. Assign Developer to individual contributors focused on remediating specific vulnerabilities.
Permissions Matrix
The following matrix shows the detailed breakdown of permissions for each role. Use this as a reference when deciding which role to assign to each user.
